长期致力于蛋白质与多肽的理性分子设计、制备与性能研究。主要担任《生物信息学》与《蛋白质工程》的课程讲授。近年来以通讯/第一作者在PNAS，Journal  American Chemical Society、Nucleic Acids Research发表了多篇原创性学术论文，参编英文专著1部。主持国家重点研发计划、国家自然基金、江苏省自然基金等国家及省级科研项目。获得江苏省双创人才、江苏省特聘教授、六大高峰人才（B类）荣誉称号，受聘为江苏省化学会计算化学分会理事。
